Christmas light installation in McCordsville, Indiana

McCordsville is on the far side of the metro from Sheridan, so it is booked in advance and routed with our other work on that side rather than fitted in at short notice.

Jingle & Glow Co installs Christmas lights and outdoor lighting in McCordsville, along the Pendleton Pike corridor and out toward Geist.

The town has grown quickly along the Pendleton Pike corridor, and the newer neighborhoods toward Geist sit on larger lots than the older streets in the center. That split shows up in the lighting: in town it is the roofline and the porch, and out toward the reservoir it is the drive, the trees and the whole frontage.

McCordsville sits far enough from the shop that we plan the whole season here in advance rather than fitting jobs in. The estimate visit, the install and the takedown are all scheduled against our other work on that side of the metro. You can read the whole sequence on our how it works page.

The strands are cut to length on site from professional grade bulbs and wiring, the same as they are on every house we light. Season long maintenance is included at this distance too, and takedown in January is scheduled with the rest of that side of the metro.

We say that plainly at the estimate. It is better than promising a same day maintenance call across a forty five minute drive and then not making it. Town information, including anything your own neighborhood publishes about exterior decoration, is on the Town of McCordsville site.

What lighting in McCordsville needs

Growth along the corridor

New subdivisions with fresh entrances and consistent elevations, where a measured roofline run reads clearly from the road.

Larger lots toward Geist

Properties where the drive and the trees matter as much as the house does.

Older center streets

Smaller, closer houses where the porch and the entry carry the display.

Questions

Questions from McCordsville

Do you really come out to McCordsville?

Yes, and it is about forty five minutes from Sheridan. It is the longest drive in our service area.

Because of the drive we route McCordsville jobs together, so booking in September or October is worth more here than anywhere else we serve.

Will maintenance be slower this far out?

A maintenance call here is scheduled rather than same day, and we say so plainly rather than promising something the drive does not allow.

It is still included in the price of the season, and one of the owners is the person who comes.

Do you light the newer neighborhoods near Geist?

Yes. Those lots are larger and the design usually covers the drive and the front trees as well as the roofline.

The measuring visit takes a little longer on a property like that, which is worth knowing when you pick a time.
