Christmas light installation in Whitestown, Indiana

Almost everything in Whitestown was built recently and a good deal of it is still going up, which makes it the newest housing stock in our service area.

Jingle & Glow Co installs Christmas lights and outdoor lighting on Whitestown homes, in Anson, Walker Farms and the newer streets around them.

Neighborhoods like Anson and Walker Farms are almost entirely new construction: straight eave lines, consistent elevations and landscaping that has not filled in yet. That combination makes the roofline and the entry carry the whole display for the first few seasons, and it makes a clean, evenly spaced run very obvious from the road.

Whitestown elevations measure quickly and install cleanly, which is the upside of a town built this recently. The straight eave lines mean an evenly spaced run looks sharp, and it also means a sloppy one is obvious from the far side of the street. You can read the whole sequence on our how it works page.

On a straight new eave the giveaway is spacing, so every run is cut to length on site using professional grade bulbs and wiring. Season long maintenance is included and the display comes down in January.

Because so much here is still being built, we check the landscaping every season and add tree work as the planting grows into it. Town information, including anything your own neighborhood publishes about exterior decoration, is on the Town of Whitestown site.

What lighting in Whitestown needs

New construction eave lines

Straight, clean runs where sloppy spacing shows immediately and a measured install looks sharp.

Young landscaping

Small trees mean the first seasons are roofline and entry, with tree work added as the planting grows in.

Neighborhood entrances

A town growing this fast has a lot of new subdivision entrances, and most of them are somebody's November problem.

Questions

Questions from Whitestown

Do you cover Anson and Walker Farms?

Yes, both, and the newer streets around them. They are mostly new construction with straight eave lines.

On those elevations even spacing is the thing that reads from the road, which is what a measured, cut to length run gives you.

Our trees are still small. Is it worth lighting anything but the roof?

For the first few seasons, the roofline and the entry will do most of the work. Small trees do not carry a display yet.

The front door, a lit garland and wrapped porch posts add depth in the meantime, and we add the trees as they grow into it.

Is Whitestown too far from Sheridan?

No. It is about twenty five minutes southwest, the same drive as Carmel.

Whitestown is in Boone County rather than Hamilton, which makes no difference to how we schedule it.
